"I don't just take photos. I capture the taste."
Food photography is unique. It requires the eye of an artist and the precision of a technician. You have to understand how light interacts with the glaze on a ribeye steak or the condensation on a cold glass of gin.
As the founder and lead photographer of Food Photographer UK, I help restaurants, chefs, and food brands show the world how good their food truly is.
Whether I'm squeezing into a busy London kitchen during service for an On-Location Shoot or styling a delicate product in my studio, my goal is the same: to make the viewer hungry.
"The best food photo is the one that makes you stop scrolling and start ordering."
- Slava Tatenko
Professional gear meets creative vision.
I bring the studio to you. Professional lighting, backdrops, and tethering equipment so you can see the shots on a laptop instantly as we work.
It's not just about the camera. I bring tweezers, brushes, glycerin, and a collection of props (linens, cutlery) to style the scene perfectly.
Shooting is only 50% of the work. My post-production process ensures colours are accurate, distractions are removed, and the food looks vibrant.
